Although Chrome can follow the Windows 10 system to automatically enable Dark Mode, but the current mode is not perfect, some elements are still light mode.Google is preparing an update for the Chrome browser for Windows 10, hoping to deploy dark mode with more elements, including scroll bars.The upcoming “FormControlsDarkMode” feature allows the browser to specify that the scroll bar should also follow the system theme settings.

Currently, although WebUI can follow the system settings to enable Dark Mode, but the scroll bar is still light mode.In the latest Commit, Google said it would further improve WebUI to better support Dark Mode.This feature is currently available in the Chrome Canary channel version, and you can test it by adding the following code to the command lineļ¼š

Google will also update all internal pages of the browser to support Dark Mode on the scroll bar.This includes settings,bookmarks, history pages, new tabs, and PDF Print screens.Unfortunately, YouTube still doesn’t have a dark scrollbar, but Chrome engineers have contacted the YouTube team to Fix Dark Mode on Windows 10.
